PIERRE — The Pierre City Commission is meeting tonight at the Pierre Municipal Building. Two public hearings kick off the agenda after a five-item consent calendar. The first public hearing is on a conditional use permit for 221 West Missouri Avenue and the second is for a malt beverage license request for T-K-O’s Custom Catering. In new business, Commissioners will consider an airport agreement with K-L-J for the Runway 7-25 project and a Ledcor Easement, Right to Occupy and South Dakota Department of Transportation permit application. The Commission will hear an overview on Tax Increment Financing and will consider approval of a resolution to update TIF guidelines. Commissioners will also consider a resolution of support for a South Dakota Housing Development Authority application for Hegg Companies before hearing more 2023 budget presentations. This week, Commissioners will hear from Capital City Campus; the Community and Youth Involved Center in Fort Pierre; The Pierre Chamber Community Room and the Convention and Visitor’s Bureau.
