The Pierre Girls Soccer team is looking to build off what they did in the 2021 season as they reached a first round home game before falling to the eventual state champions, Roosevelt Roughriders. This year, Pierre looks to climb the standings higher as the core returns.
The Governors finished the 21 season at 9-4-1 and in seventh place in the standings. Head Coach Kira Swenson enters her second year with the program and she says it’s another great group of girls…

The Governor girls will play the first game of the varsity doubleheaders on both Friday and Saturday. Friday’s game is scheduled for kickoff at 4:00 against Douglas and the Spearfish game is scheduled for 12:00 on Saturday. Both games will be at the PILC Fields.
