Stanley County Volleyball Continues to Build

Stephanie Huber took over as the Stanley County Volleyball coach heading into the 2021 season and in a year, the Lady Buffaloes increased its win total and nearly went .500 on the season. Into year two, Huber and the Lady Buffs are looking to build off the success.

Stanley County returns half of the starting lineup from the 2021 season and Huber likes what she sees from the returners…

One of the challenges heading into the season is replacing the seniors on the team, specifically Jordyn Sosa, the team leader in blocks, Carlie O’Conner, the team leader in kills and Taylee Stroup who led the team in digs. Huber says they are big shoes to fill, but still excited to see athletes step up…

Stanley County jumped out to a 3-0 record to start the season last year and Huber says she wants the momentum again to start this season…

Stanley County opens the season on August 23 at home against Highmore-Harrold. First serve is scheduled for around 7:30 at Parkview Auditorium in Ft. Pierre.
