Youth Movement for Stanley County Football

There’s always excitement around a new football season and for Stanley County it’s no different heading into the 2022 season. Yet, there’s some more excitement with the younger classes growing the numbers of Stanley County football.

The Buffaloes graduated multiple starters on both the sides of the ball and lost a lot of what the offense and defense provided over the last several years. Now, as the team sees its turnover in the starters rule, head coach of the Stanley County Buffaloes, Max Foth is excited to see the transition. Foth says though, it’s going to be different…

A lot of times the phrase “rebuild” is brought up when there’s such a young team after being a senior heavy team last year. Foth says they’re maybe not wrong if they say “rebuild,” but Foth puts as building for the future…

Foth understands there will be growing pains with the younger team and he says he has to be stable..

Foth says the excitement is there and it’s a new challenge…

Stanley County will open the season at home on Friday, August 19 against rival Sully Buttes. DT Meyer will have the call on Country 95.3, pierrecountry.com and on YouTube at Country 95.3 Sports.
