PIERRE — The Pierre School Board holds its August meeting tonight at the District Administration building. Board members will face a relatively light agenda. The Board will consider approval of the agenda and an eight-item consent calendar before hearing comments from Superintendent Kelly Glodt. Comments from Board members and the public will follow along with an update on school safety. Board members will hear an annual report on playground inspections across the District and will consider donations, contract items and will meet in executive session to discuss school safety issues. The Pierre School District Board of Education meets tonight at 5:30 PM. The meeting is open to the public.
