Ayvrie Kaiser, the rising senior, announced on Twitter Thursday she will be verbally committing to Northern State to continue here volleyball career.
The Governor will stay in-state heading to play for the Wolves. Kaiser helped lead the Governors to a 16-8 record and a berth into the state tournament for the first time in her high school career. Kaiser was named to the All-ESD team, second team All-State and also was named to the All-American team at the National AAU Club Volleyball tournament in Florida at the end of June. Northern State finished 18-11 last season and 13-7 in the NSIC. It was just the first time since 2016 the Wolves were kept out of the NCAA Tournament other than in 2020 due to Covid.

Kaiser makes her verbal commitment over SMSU, Black Hills State, South Dakota School of Mines and USF. Kaiser is currently undecided on either dentistry or elementary education. The Governors open up the season at home on August 23. KCCR will have coverage of Governor volleyball throughout the season.
