PIERRE — The Pierre City Commission is meeting tonight at the Pierre Municipal Building. Commissioners will consider approval of a four item consent calendar before moving on to regular agenda items. The calendar includes the claims, meeting minutes, the appointing of Steve Harding to the South Dakota Public Assurance Alliance Board and setting a public hearing for a malt beverage license for August 16th at 5:45 PM. Commissioners will consider the final contract and payment for improvements to the Evans Street Substation and a request for proposals for a collegiate baseball team. The Commission will also consider a request to bid for a pickleball court project, a request to surplus property and will hear the June 30th 2022 quarterly financial report. Commissioners will round out the meeting by presenting any dialogue they may have. The Pierre City Commission meets tonight at 5:30 PM.
