There was a noticeably larger presence of South Dakota Highway Patrol troopers around the Capital Complex Saturday. At least 12 marked patrol units could be seen in and around the Capitol including two parked inside the Governor’s residence compound. The protest was a two day event that featured speakers, music and a sit-on planned for Sunday.
