The Capitol City Little League will open up the state tournament on Friday as they travel out to the Rapid City Area and will take on the Rapid City Little League in the first game of the tournament.
Both Pierre and Sioux Falls qualified from the East River Sub State tournament in Pierre and it was Rapid City and Harney Little League qualifying from the West River Sub State tournament. Pierre will play the final game of the day at 8:30 Central Time. A win puts them in the 3:30 game on Saturday but a loss puts their backs against the wall playing at 1:00 on Saturday needing to win four straight games to claim the state title. The state championship games are scheduled for Monday.
First pitch for Pierre and Rapid City will be at 8:30 Central Time from Rapid City.
