Pierre Swim Team Compete at State B Swim Meet with State A this Weekend

This past weekend, 9 Pierre swimmers competed at the 2022 Long Course State B Swim Meet in Yankton. If a swimmer gets 1^st or 2^nd place, they get a “pass” to swim that event at the State A meet.

In the Girls 8 & Under Division:

Betty Lukkes: 50 breaststroke-2^nd, 100 breaststroke-2^nd , 50 back-6^th, 50 free-7^th & 100 free-8th

In the Girls 9-10 Division:

Lydia Kroon: 200 free-11^th, 100 back-16^th, 50 back-18^th, 100 free-24^th, 50 breaststroke-24^th, 100 breaststroke-24^th & 50 free-25^th

In the Girls 11-12 Division:

Aubrey Chamberlain: 100 breaststroke-1^st, 50 breaststroke-2^nd, 50 free-2^nd, 100 free-3^rd, 50 free-7^th & 200 free-9^th

In the Girls 13-14 Division:

Emmyline Fabel: 200 breaststroke-5^th, 50 free-6^th, 100 breaststroke-6^th, 100 free-7^th, 200 IM-8^th, 100 fly-12^th & 100 back-15^th.

In the Girls 15-16 Division:

Jaycee Bauer: 100 back-1^st (SDQ), 200 back-1^st (SDQ), 100 fly-1^st, 200 fly-2^nd, 400 free-2^nd & 200 free-2^nd

In the Girls 17-19 Division:

Kendra Rounds: 100 free-1^st, 200 free-1^st, 400 free-1^st, 800 free-1^st, 100 back-1^st, 100 fly-1^st & 50 free-1^st.

In the Boys 8 & Under Division:

Bentley Frost: 50 breaststroke-3^rd

In the Boys 9-10 Division:

Abram Doll: 50 fly-8^th

In the Boys 11-12 Division:

Trey Linn: 50 free-1^st (SDQ), 100 free-1^st (SDQ), 200 IM-1^st(SDQ), 50 back-2^nd , 100 back-2^nd, 400 free-2^nd & 200 free-5th

The next meet for Pierre will be July 22-24^th in Sioux Falls for the 2022 South Dakota State A Championship meet where 16 swimmers will compete.
