This past weekend, 9 Pierre swimmers competed at the 2022 Long Course State B Swim Meet in Yankton. If a swimmer gets 1st or 2nd place, they get a “pass” to swim that event at the State A meet.
In the Girls 8 & Under Division:
- Betty Lukkes: 50 breaststroke-2nd, 100 breaststroke-2nd , 50 back-6th, 50 free-7th & 100 free-8th
In the Girls 9-10 Division:
- Lydia Kroon: 200 free-11th, 100 back-16th, 50 back-18th, 100 free-24th, 50 breaststroke-24th, 100 breaststroke-24th & 50 free-25th
In the Girls 11-12 Division:
- Aubrey Chamberlain: 100 breaststroke-1st, 50 breaststroke-2nd, 50 free-2nd, 100 free-3rd, 50 free-7th & 200 free-9th
In the Girls 13-14 Division:
- Emmyline Fabel: 200 breaststroke-5th, 50 free-6th, 100 breaststroke-6th, 100 free-7th, 200 IM-8th, 100 fly-12th & 100 back-15th.
In the Girls 15-16 Division:
- Jaycee Bauer: 100 back-1st (SDQ), 200 back-1st (SDQ), 100 fly-1st, 200 fly-2nd, 400 free-2nd & 200 free-2nd
In the Girls 17-19 Division:
- Kendra Rounds: 100 free-1st, 200 free-1st, 400 free-1st, 800 free-1st, 100 back-1st, 100 fly-1st & 50 free-1st.
In the Boys 8 & Under Division:
- Bentley Frost: 50 breaststroke-3rd
In the Boys 9-10 Division:
- Abram Doll: 50 fly-8th
In the Boys 11-12 Division:
- Trey Linn: 50 free-1st (SDQ), 100 free-1st (SDQ), 200 IM-1st(SDQ), 50 back-2nd , 100 back-2nd, 400 free-2nd & 200 free-5th

The next meet for Pierre will be July 22-24th in Sioux Falls for the 2022 South Dakota State A Championship meet where 16 swimmers will compete.
