The Pierre School District’s General Fund for the next school year is 22-point-eight million dollars or a seven-point-one percent increase. Nearly 19-million is for salaries and benefits with three-point-eight million for all other items. That’s a general fund budget increase of one-point-five million dollars over the budget year that ended June 30th.
