Pierre Shooters Wrap Up National Championships with Strong Showing

Over the last three days, the Pierre Trap Shooting team took part in the National Championships in Mason, Michigan and are coming home with an impressive performance.

All five Pierre shooters were exceptional and in the top 25% of all the participants around the country on both the team side and in the individual side. All five members had at least one round of a perfect 25 throughout the weekend. On Sunday, four of the five members competed in the individual championship round. Noah Smith, Lucas Jones and Shawn Van Liere each finished the two rounds with a 190 for Pierre, 95 on each day for Smith, 98 and 92 for Jones and 94 and 96 for Van Liere. Bryce Becker finished with a 187 shooting a 96 and 91 over the two rounds. All five shooters had a 90 each round they shot. Aiden McKinney of Kansas and Jesse Scott of Ohio each finished with a 199, the best score of the two weekends.
