This weekend, Pierre Post 8 will be in Maple Grove, Minnesota for the 2022 Gopher Classic. The Eights will play five games Friday through Sunday in their pool.
Pierre is coming in off a 3-0 win over the Rapid City Post 22 Hardhats on Wednesday and will be looking to continue to play well over the weekend. Pierre will face Elk River and Rosetown on Friday before playing a straight doubleheader on Saturday against Omaha Westside and Maple Grove. The Eights will conclude pool play against Chanhassen Sunday morning. Outside of Omaha, the other four games will be against Minnesota opponents. Pierre will have to win the pool to advance to Monday to reach the quarterfinals. Brian White, manager of Post 8, says this tournament is a chance for guys to earn spots…

The Eights will face Elk River at 9:00 AM on Friday with the second game against Rosetown at 2:00. You can see a full list of the scheduled games on our website at kccrradio.com.
