Starting on Friday, five members for the Pierre High School Trap Shooting team will begin competing for a National Championship in Mason, Michigan.
Bryce Becker, Lucas Jones, Jaxon Jungwirth, Noah Smith and Shawn Van Liere will all compete for Pierre in the national championships. The team arrived Wednesday afternoon and will get a full practice round on Thursday before competition starts on Friday. They will have the team qualifying rounds starting at 9:00 AM after the opening ceremonies. Then on Saturday, it will be individual qualifying rounds which will again kick off at 9:00 AM. If the team and individuals qualify for the championship rounds, it will all take place on Sunday with Monday being an alternate round in case of weather.
