PIERRE — The Pierre City Commission is meeting tonight at the Pierre Municipal Building. The Oath of Office will be given to Commissioners Vona Johnson and Blake Barringer as they begin new terms on the Commission. Commissioners will also go through assignments for the next year. The agenda includes a five-item consent calendar with minutes for approval, the claims and three personnel items. Commissioners will consider requests to bid for both 2023 water and electric materials and will consider an agreement with Aaron Swan and Associates for testing during construction of Pierre’s new outdoor pool. The Commission will also hear an update on electric service to the community. The Pierre City Commission meets tonight at 5:30 pm. The meeting is open to the public.
