Fort Pierre City Council To Hold Regular Meeting Tonight Due To Holiday

FORT PIERRE — The Fort Pierre City Council is moving its normal Monday night meeting to Tuesday because of the Independence Day holiday. Council members will hear reports from city officials before getting into six items of new business. The Council will consider an agreement with the Corps of Engineers for flood prevention and mobile home court licenses pending approval. Council members will consider awarding a hay bid and two resolutions. One resolution is in regards to a plat while the second is for the vacation of an easement requested by A-G-E Corporation. The Council will also consider a conditional use permit for Dan O’s Marine. The Fort Pierre City Council meets at 6:30 pm in the South Dakota Municipal League meeting room.
