From Governor to Husky, Kienholz Commits to Washington

Wednesday afternoon, Lincoln Kienholz announced on Twitter where he will be intending to play at the start of the 2023 season, for Kalen DeBoer and the Washington Huskies.

Kienholz narrowed down his final four schools a month ago to North Dakota State, Wisconsin, Wyoming and Washington. The PAC 12 school was his last visit of the four and days after returning home, he’s elected to be their quarterback.

Kienholz will have an opportunity to break the state record in pass yards this upcoming season during his senior campaign and look for a sixth straight state championship for the Pierre Governors. Kienholz has thrown for 5,678 yards through three season including 3,359 yards in his junior year. Kienholz will need to throw for 1,965 yards to break Austin Sumner’s record of 7,642.
