Newest Pierre Governor, Maciejczak Commits to North Dakota

A do it all guy for the last couple of years will now be able to focus on one thing, the line. Jason Maciejczak is transferring from Douglas to Pierre and he’s bringing a verbal commitment to an FCS school with him. Monday, Maciejczak announced on Twitter he will be committing to the University of North Dakota.

Maciejczak is not a slouch by any means. As All-Stater at Douglas, the lineman stands at 6’4 and weighs 320 and as his dad and former coach at Douglas, Dan, put it on Twitter, “320 pounds of explosion.” Maciejczak also had an offer Kent State out of the MAC and Nebraska was showing interest, but at the end of the day he chose North Dakota. Fall camp is just around the corner and Maciejczak is looking forward to the 2022 season…

Maciejczak will make his Pierre Governor debut whenever the Governors take the field on August 26 at home against Aberdeen Central.
