Souris Valley Beats Trappers again

The winning streak is now up to 19 as the Souris Valley Sabre Dogs beat the Pierre Trappers 10-2 in the final game of the series and the first of seven games at home for Pierre.

Souris Valley opened up a 3-0 lead in the top of the third and had a 5-0 lead before the Trappers were able to get on the board. Souris Valley went deep twice in the game while Pierre’s Antony Barraza hit a two run homer for the only runs of the game for Pierre. Souris Valley is now at 23-1 on the season and will be looking for a 20 game winning streak against the North Iowa Ragin’ Roosters this weekend.

Pierre will open a three game set with the Red River Pilots on Friday. First pitch from Hyde Stadium is at 7:05.
