It’s more of the same from the Souris Valley Sabre Dogs as they have now won 18 in a row with a 10-0 shutout win over the Pierre Trappers on Wednesday in Minot.
Pierre still has not been able to do what the other two teams have been able to do in over two weeks, beat the Souris Valley Sabre Dogs. The Sabre Dogs jumped out to a 6-0 lead at the end of the second inning and added another three runs in the third before putting the nail in the coffin with a tenth run in the bottom of the fifth and finishing the shutout in seven innings. Kaleb Hay was tagged for eight earned runs in three innings of work. Tynan Shahidi had the only two hits in the game for the Trappers.
Pierre is now 7-17 and will be at home on Thursday to face the Sabre Dogs trying to put a stop to the 18 game winning streak. First pitch from Hyde Stadium is scheduled for 7:05.
