Trappers Have Early Lead but Sabre Dogs Too Much

The Pierre Trappers took a 2-1 lead into the fourth inning, but the Souris Valley Sabre Dogs scored the last 11 runs of the game to beat the Trappers 12-2 and extend its winning streak to now 17 in a row.

The Trappers scored both of its runs in the top of the third thanks to an RBI triple by Jacob Griffin and then driven in by Hunter Brown on a sacrifice fly in the next at bat. However, it was all they could muster across as Casey Kostrzewa took the loss on the mound giving up five runs in five innings. The Sabre Dogs blasted two home runs in their 21st win of the season.

Pierre will try and end the Sabre Dogs win streak again on Wednesday in Minot before returning home on Thursday for a single game. First pitch tonight is at 6:35.
