A comeback victory has set the stage for a highly anticipated doubleheader at Hyde Stadium tonight as Pierre will face Sioux Falls East just four days after beating East in Sioux Falls at the Dakota Classic.
Pierre used a nine run inning to overcome a 5-0 deficit to beat East 12-9 in their first of three matchups on the season. Tonight the final two meetings will take place with one of the toughest teams in the state but Pierre has the chance to go 3-0 against them. It also begins a stretch of up to nine games through Sunday as they will travel to Mandan on Thursday and then finishing traveling to Minot on Friday for a tournament.
