PIERRE — The Hughes County Commission has adjusted their meeting day because of the Juneteenth holiday. A light agenda for the Commission has three public hearings, starting at around 5:30 pm. All three of the public hearings are for rezoning requests and plats. Commissioners will hear updates from the Treasurer’s Office and Care of the Poor before hearing liaison reports and a County Managers report. The Commission is also scheduled to enter executive session for contract negotiations. The Hughes County Commission meets tonight at 5:30 pm at the Hughes County Courthouse.
