PIERRE — It’s another small agenda for the Pierre City Commission tonight. Only three items of new business are on the agenda. Seven items make up the consent calendar. They include the minutes from the June 7th meeting, the claims; two raffle request for Countryside Hospice and Missouri Shores House of Hope and three personnel items. They include two new hires in the Golf and Library Departments and a promotion in the Parks Department. New business includes a request to purchase an asphalt packer for the Street Department; a change order on the Highland Avenue reconstruction project and Dewatering for the Pierre Municipal Pool Construction project. Commissioners will present any dialogue they may have to wrap up the meeting. The Pierre City Commission meets tonight at 5:30 P-M. The meeting is open to the community.
