FORT PIERRE — The Stanley County Commission is holding its June monthly meeting tonight to account for the canvassing of election results from Tuesday night. Commissioners will discuss a delinquent tax payment agreement and Grow South Dakota with Jared Groos. The Commission will talk with James Ross regarding a landslide and will discuss county health insurance with Zach Clark. Commissioners will meet in executive session for personnel and will meet with the H-R Attorney. Director of Equalization Tracy Schmitt will meet with Commissioners regarding four plat requests, a conditional use permit for an A-T and T cell tower; temporary data entry hire and the hiring of an assistant. Commissioners will meet with Fairgrounds Manager Scott Deal and Highway Superintendent Lee Smith. Also on the agenda is a resolution for a drought declaration adding a Commissioner/Register of Deed to bank accounts, an auditor assistant temporary hire; automatic supplement to the Fairgrounds, the Juneteenth holiday and another executive session for personnel. The Stanley County Commission meets tonight at five PM.
