PIERRE — The Pierre City Commission is meeting tonight at the Pierre Municipal Building. Another light agenda will have Commissioners considering approval of a four item consent calendar which includes minutes from the last meeting, the claims and two new hires for the cemetery as seasonal and solid waste department. A public hearing will be held at 5:45 pm for a temporary liquor license request for the Longbranch at the Missouri Avenue Events Center. The Commission will get an update on activities from the Missouri Sedimentation Action Coalition and will consider a change order for the 2021 curb and gutter project. One final item on the agenda is a request to bid and a resolution of intent regarding an airport hay lease. Commissioners will also give any dialogue they may have.
