The weekend didn’t go as planned for the Pierre Trappers as they dropped all three games in Minot against the Souris Valley Sabre Dogs with a 27-0 loss on Sunday.
The Trappers had won three straight with a dominating performance in the road sweep of the North Iowa Ragin’ Roosters, but it was the Souris Valley Sabre Dogs who flexed their muscles from Friday to Sunday in three straight wins. Souris Valley is now on a four game winning streak.
The Trappers are now 4-6 on the season and will have Monday off before facing the Sabre Dogs in Minot on Tuesday and Wednesday and then returning to Pierre against the Sabre Dogs on Thursday.
