The Pierre Trappers scored a combine 39 runs over three games as they finished out the sweep of the North Iowa Ragin’ Roosters winning 13-9 on Thursday.
The Trappers had 10 plus runs once again as they scored at least 11 in every game of the series on the road. Pierre also has a three game winning streak and are back over .500 for the first time since taking the opening day win last week Thursday. North Iowa falls to 3-4 on the year.
Pierre will travel out to Minot to begin a five game series with the defending Expedition League champions, the Souris Valley Sabre Dogs on Friday. First pitch is scheduled for 6:35.
