The Pierre Governor golf team might have 13 days off between competition, but the Governors have kept themselves busy with practice and practice rounds as they stay focused on the state tournament in Brookings starting on Monday.
Chris Swiden, head coach of the Governors, says he’s not looking to change anything at this point of the season…
Swiden says over the last week they’ve been simulating the holes of the Brookings course…
Swiden says he’s indifferent about the long break as they’re able to stay on the course in Pierre and continue to work. Swiden does say he likes what they’re building off of from the ESD back on May 26…
The state AA tournament is scheduled to be played in Brookings on Monday and Tuesday, June 6-7.
