The ending of the weekend didn’t go the way the Pierre Trappers were hoping as they opened up the season with a resounding win over the North Iowa Ragin’ Roosters. However, the Trappers fell in the final three games of the home stand and are 1-3 to begin the season.
There’s two different approaches to look at the current situation. The Trappers can quickly overcome the losses by winning the road series and with only four teams they are right back in the thick of the early season standings. The problem would be is the losses can add up very fast and if the Trappers drop another series against the Ragin’ Roosters the deficit becomes even larger.
It’s a three game series at North Iowa as they play through Thursday. First pitch tonight is scheduled for 7:05.
