The 2022 season begins on Thursday in the Expedition League and for the Pierre Trappers as they host the North Iowa Ragin’ Roosters at Hyde Stadium.
This year the Expedition League will look a little different as two new teams unfold. However, with the split of the league, just the Trappers and Souris Valley Sabre Dogs remain as teams for the 2022 season. Along with the Ragin’ Roosters, the Red River Pilots of Grand Forks is the other team new to the league. With just four teams in total, the Trappers will see plenty of its opponents in 2022.
Jamy Habeger takes the reigns of the 2022 team after being the assistant coach for the 2021 season. Monterio May, the manager in 2021 will not be back with the team in 2022. Habeger says he’s excited for this season…
