Official Shortage has Potential for Big Impact in South Dakota Sports

Just like most places in the country, officials are becoming rarer to find. There have been several games canceled in other states because of the lack of officials and as time continues the need grows, the likelihood of more cancellations is a real probability.

A simple google search of games canceled because of official shortages will result in plenty of articles across the country. It unfortunately doesn’t look like it will come to an end soon, but those in each state are encouraging new faces to try officiating.
