WINNER — A man is killed in a crash in Tripp County. The South Dakota Highway Patrol says a 20 year-old man was driving a 2004 Ford F-150 pickup north on 314th Avenue Tuesday morning around 1:20 am. The preliminary investigation indicates the man lost control of the pickup near the intersection with 275th Street approximately three miles north of Winner. The driver was not wearing a seat belt at the time the vehicle lost control and was thrown from the truck. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The man was the only person involved in the crash. The name of the man is being withheld pending notification of family. The South Dakota Highway Patrol is continuing its investigation into the crash.
