Kienholz Continues to Weigh Options as More Offers are Made

It’s been a whirlwind of a couple of months for Pierre’s Lincoln Kienholz. The rising senior has seen the interest level go from the top tier FCS schools to Group of Five schools and now to Power Five schools.

Friday morning, Kienholz had a crowd gather as five schools were able to watch him throw; Minnesota, Rutgers, Washington State, Wyoming and Arkansas State. Out of the five, Kienholz already has offers from both Washington State and Arkansas State. Kienholz says this process has been moving fast…

The workout came a day after Kienholz received offers from his first two Big Ten schools in Wisconsin and Illinois, both within five hours of each other. Other offers for the Pierre quarterback include FCS rivals South Dakota State and North Dakota State, Mountain West’s Colorado State, ACC’s Pittsburgh and Pac-12’s Washington. Kienholz says there are plenty of factors into making his decision…

The future for Kienholz is intending to study pre-med in college. And even though the process is moving fast, Kienholz is still taking everything in with the process…

Along with the now nine football offers, Kienholz also has an offer from the University of South Dakota for basketball.
