PIERRE — There is a second Republican candidate for South Dakota Attorney General and it’s not the current holder of that office, Jason Ravnsborg. Ravnsborg, recently impeached by the South Dakota State House, says he’s still weighing his options. He faces a Senate impeachment trial next month. Former Attorney General Marty Jackley is also running for the seat. A candidate will be selected at the South Dakota Republican convention in Watertown in June.
