PIERRE — The May meeting of the Pierre School Board is tonight at the District Administration Building. The Board will consider approval of the consent calendar and agenda before hearing comments from Superintendent Kelly Glodt. Board members will get an update from the Riggs Student Senate and hear any board and public comments before getting into the main agenda. The Board will hear about a proposed backpack program for Georgia Morse Middle School and will give final reading to policy updates and revisions to policies on bidding requirements, sexual or personal harassment, public complaints and bullying prevention. An update to the District’s Safe Return to School plan is on the agenda along with taking action on High School Activities Association amendments and elections and a preliminary look at the Fiscal Year 2023 budget. Donations, resignations and contract items are also on the agenda for tonight. The Pierre School Board meets this evening at 5:30 P-M.
