Ellie Jo Simpson had the best finish for the Pierre Governor golf team on Friday in Yankton as she shot an 84, 12 shots off the win.
The Governors as a team finished in fourth place with a strong finish to the day. Pierre shot a 352, 17 shots off Harrisburg for the team win. Pierre was fourth in 15 teams in Yankton. Hadley Hart was tied for 17th at 16 over, 88 while Andrea Mosteller was tied for 21st at 89 and Haley Nadeau was tied for 28th at 19 over, 91. Madilyn Brakke shot a 92 and Morgan Lisburg a 105.
The Governors will be in Mitchell next Friday as the ESD invite is closing in on two weeks away.
