Lyman, Jones County, Highmore-Harrold Track Compete at Meet of Legends

The Lyman Raiders, Jones County Coyotes and Highmore-Harrold Pirates had a great day to be in Burke for the Meet of Legends on Tuesday.

Lyman

Skyler Volmer had another solid day for the Lyman Raiders as she picked up wins in the high jump and triple jump while also placing second the long jump. TJ Moran won both the shot put and discus throws on the boys side as the two combined for the four Lyman wins on the day. Rory McManus was third in the 300 meter hurdles while Ellie Erikson was fourth in the 100 meter hurdles and Stockton McClanahan was fourth in the triple jump.

Jones County

Mallory Valburg set a PR in the 400 meter win on Tuesday as she along with Chastin Tollakson in the boys triple jump were the two winners on the day for the Jones County Coyotes. Tollakson was also second in the long jump while Valburg was second in the high jump. Madelyn Host in the girls 200 meters and Slade Benedict in the boys 200 meters both placed third.

Highmore-Harrold

The Aasby boys had two of the three Highmore-Harrold wins as Grady placed first in the 100 meter and Coby in the 400 meters. Dawson McHale won the 3200 meter run. Maddie Knox was second in the 400 meters while Autumn Fallis was second in the 3200 meter run and Letha Jessen third in the 100 and 300 meter hurdles.
