FORT PIERRE — The Stanley County Commission is holding its monthly meeting tonight. The Commission will hear from Highway Superintendent Lee Smith and Fairgrounds Manager Scott Deal. Commissioners will consider declaring road, bridge and weed and pest equipment as surplus and a contract with Central South Dakota Communications for E-911 and dispatch services. An abatement is on the agenda along with considering a new hire and a raise. The Commission will consider an owner status correction and automatic budget supplements for R and B Equipment for Construction and Professional Services for the States Attorney Salary. The Stanley County Commission is also scheduled to meet in executive session for personnel. Due to the upcoming primary election the June Stanley County Commission meeting will be held on June 9th. The Stanley County Commission meets tonight at five pm.
