PIERRE — The Pierre City Commission is meeting tonight at the Pierre Municipal Building. Commissioners will consider approval of a nine-item consent calendar. The calendar includes raffle requests for Oahe Days and the Church of Hope along with three new hires, personnel items, meeting minutes from the April 26th meeting and the claims. The Commission will give second reading to the 2022 budget supplement and will consider a street closure request for the Special Olympics/Law Enforcement Torch Run event. Commissioners will consider introduction of a joint plat and will hear the 2021 annual financial report. The meeting will end with Commissioners giving any dialogue they may have. The Pierre City Commission meets tonight at 5:30 pm.
