FORT PIERRE — The Fort Pierre City Council is meeting tonight at the South Dakota Municipal League building. The Council will consider approval of the agenda and declare any conflicts of interest before hearing from city officials. Scott Deal and Gloria Hanson will be given their oath of office before the meeting continues. The Council will consider a BID Board resolution and will conducted annual reappointments and declarations including the naming of a new Council president and vice president. The Council will consider approval of two medical cannabis licenses. Two personnel items are on the agenda along with consideration of an agreement with the Tieszen Law office; the 2021 annual report, a lease for the Year-Round Fish Cleaning station, two plat resolution and discussion with Floyd’s Truck Center on a surcharge.
