Potter County Girls, Herreid/Selby Area Boys Win Yellowstone Trail Conference Meet

A near perfect day, especially compared to the rest of the season, in Onida on Thursday for the Yellowstone Trail Conference Track and Field Meet. The Potter County girls won the team score as did the Herreid/Selby Area boys.

For the Sully Buttes Chargers, they had 10 winners including six on the boys side and four on the girls side. Collin Bradbury won the 200 meter run while being part of the 4×100 and 4×200 relay teams along with Teghan Westphal, Lucas Arcoren and Gavin Barber. Griffin Peterson was first in the 800 meter run while also placing second in the 1600 meter run. The sprint medley relay team won first place with Isaac Ramirez, Kadyen Westergren, Damian Garcia and Barber. Jesse Schall picked up a win in the discus throw while brother Jordan Schall was second, the brothers were second and third respectively in the shot put. The Charger girls had wins from Stevie Wittler in the 100 and 300 meter hurdles while Addison Chicoine was first the shot put and Lydia Hill was first in the discus throw. Wittler also had a second place finish in the 200 meter dash.
