Flor, Albertson Sign to Continue Football Careers

Two Pierre Governor lineman on Wednesday morning, signed to continue playing football as Jaden Flor signed with Dakota State in Madison, while Kyle Albertson signed to play at Gallaudet in the Washington D.C. area.

The two Governors leave the program, just like the 2021 seniors, not knowing what it’s like to not win a state championship. Whether touching the field in all four years or not, they were a part of the second through fifth straight state championships for Pierre.

Both Flor and Albertson controlled the line for the Governors and coming into this season, might have been the question mark, but the two helped answer those questions quickly in being a dominant line once again. Head Coach of the Pierre Governors, Steve Steele says it’s a great thing for both Flor and Albertson…

Both Flor and Albertson talked about the opportunities to play alongside one another and the rest of their teammates. Flor says the team felt like a family…

Albertson echoed Flor’s statement…

Both are going to college to study computer science and cyber security. Flor says he fell in love with the campus on his visit…

Albertson says he’s excited for the opportunity to go out to Gallaudet…

Steele believes one of the things these two will be remembered by the hard work they put in being an undersized group…

The Governors won its fifth straight state title in November.
