The Pierre Governor tennis team had little problem with the Huron Tigers and the Spearfish Spartans on Tuesday as the Governors won both duals 8-1 for a triangular sweep.
For the Governors, Matthew Hanson, Blake Judson, Luke Leingang and Spencer Kelly all went 4-0 on the day winning both singles matches and teaming up to win all doubles matches. Matyas Pribal went 3-0 with two singles win and a doubles win. The Governors have now won six duals in a row and are 7-3 on the season in duals. The Governors are 5-1 in duals against Class A opponents and have won all five since dropping its opening dual against Mitchell.
The Governors will face the Brandon Valley Lynx, an ESD foe on Thursday at Griffin Park. The lone dual is scheduled to begin at 1:00.
