The Pierre Governor tennis team is back in action today as they host the Aberdeen Central Golden Eagles in a lone dual at Griffin Park. The two teams were scheduled to compete on Thursday last week, but had to push the dual back a week.
Aberdeen Central currently sit at 4-5 on the season in duals with sweeps of Rapid City Central, Spearfish and St. Thomas More with a 5-4 win over Brandon Valley. Aberdeen Central lost to both Sioux Falls Christian and Harrisburg at a triangular, while the Governors beat both Sioux Falls Christian and Harrisburg in a triangular last Monday. Pierre still sits at 4-3 on the season in duals and have won the last three in a row. The Governors will see Harrisburg and Sioux Falls Christian again on Saturday and Williamson says she wants to use the extended break as a positive for a busy end to this week…
