Fort Pierre City Council Shifts Meeting From Monday To Tonight For Easter

FORT PIERRE — The Fort Pierre City Council is meeting tonight instead of Monday due to the Easter holiday. The Council will consider approval of the agenda and will declare any conflicts of interest before hearing reports from city officials. Three public hearings are on the agenda. All three are for temporary liquor license requests for events at the Casey Tibbs Rodeo Center on April 22nd; May 7th and May 11th. New business includes consideration of the canvass of votes from the April 12th election and Gary Grittner has been given time on the agenda. The Council will also consider a personnel item and will award bids for 2022 street milling and overlay projects.
