PIERRE — The South Dakota Board of Water and Natural Resources has approved one-point-one billion worth of funding for water projects across the state. The City of Kadoka is getting three-point-three million dollars for three projects while Philip was awarded 216-thousand dollars for improvements. Kennebec will get eight-point-three million for work and Miller a total of 797-thousand dollars. Mid-Dakota Rural Water System was awarded over 45-million dollars for projects. The Spring Creek/Cow Creek Sanitary District was awarded three-point-four million dollars for various projects.
