PIERRE — The Pierre School Board, coming off a special meeting last week is meeting tonight for its regular monthly meeting. The Board will hear comments from Superintendent Kelly Glodt, the Board and the public before hearing an update from the Riggs Student Senate. The Board will take time to recognize recent Milken Educator award winner Nichole Bowman, who the Board also recognized last month as the District’s Teacher of the Year. A update on the School Board election is on the agenda along with first reading of a policy revision on bidding requirements. First reading will also be given to policy revisions on sexual or personal harassment, public complaints and bullying. The Board will consider a High School Activities Association Board resolution, an administrative rule waiver and out-of-district open enrollments along with resignations and contract items. The Pierre School Board meets tonight at 5:30 PM.
