Julie Eppard, athletic director at Chester Area was awarded the 2022 NIAA State Award of Merit during the South Dakota Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association state conference held on March 31.
In a press release on Tuesday, the NIAAA distinguished Eppard with the award which is provided to by the NIAAA to an athletic administrator from each state for recognition of meritorious dedication to high school and middle school athletics.
Eppard holds eight years of experience as an athletic administrator and is the regional volleyball chair and track chair.
Eppard is the SDIAAA liaison to the NIAAA mentoring committee.
