Over the weekend and hopefully into Monday, Three girls team will be competing in West Chester, Pennsylvania for Team South Dakota. Those three teams have a combined seven Lady Capitals on them.
Ashton Lee and Olivia Swenson, both finishing their careers with the Lady Caps at the beginning of March are joined by fellow teammate Alyssa Stahl on the U19 team which features all South Dakota varsity members except for one. The same can be said for the U16 and U14 teams. A lot of talented players from the South Dakota varsity ranks make up these teams. Sara Bierne is the lone Lady Cap on the U16 girls team but will be joined by several of the top scorers. Brylee Kafka, Brenna Ullmann and Emily Nemec are all on the U14 team as they look to help lead the team to a deep run in the national tournament. Lee and Swenson get to be teammates one more time and Singleton hopes they enjoy one last tournament together…
Team SD U16 will play first at 10:00 AM Thursday morning against the Florida Alliance while the U19 Team SD will play at 12:00 against the Steel City Selects and the U14 team will play at 4:15 against the New Jersey Bandits. You can see a full list of their schedule below.
